Review Classes A Review Course is an abbreviated course that briefly reviews course information and allows practice of skills and knowledge before testing. Review courses are designed for students with an ongoing need for certification who, because of previous training, do not require a full course to regain the skills and knowledge needed for certification. The review course offers these participants opportunities to review knowledge and practice skills and then test them for certification. Individuals must hold a current basic-level American Red Cross course certificate (or equivalent American Heart Association CPR or AED certificate during the first year of issuance) to enroll in the review class.
